The latest artwork in the tunnel between Lindleinsmühle and Grombühl in Würzburg, Germany. …I’ve got to admit, I’m kind of curious why the artist wrote Happy Birthday Stuttgart on there.
The graffiti on the tunnels between the neighborhoods of Lindslienmühle and Grombühl in Würzburg has been evolving. I can’t really call it simple graffiti, this is real, amazing and creative artwork worth pausing and admiring.
My favorite part of walking toward the city, or just going to the -real, is walking through the little bike / foot / tunnel under the highway. Sometime’s I’ll just go down there for no other reason than to see if there is anything new.
Like this evening, I found the newest piece which is the face you see as the featured image at the top of this post. Looks, very interesting. I really like how well the artist got the fractured pieces of transparent glass to kind of pop out of the concrete.
It’s always a little disappointing when a piece I really like get’s covered up, but whatever replaces it tends to be pretty awesome.
Here is a little slideshow of the latest street art I’ve seen in Wuerzburg… Some of it have already been replaced.
I was glad when I found the Facebook Page Würzburg Street Art which has a pretty good collection of pictures like me. …Makes me happy to know there are more weirdos like me out there.
